Trio of Signed Rance Hood Lithographs

Item Details

A trio of Rance Hood signed lithographic prints. The first lithograph features a Native American in full leader regalia astride his horse to the center leading silhouetted riders across a dry and hard packed terrain. A sliver of the moon is over his left shoulder as a silhouetted eagle soars through the air to his right. It is signed and numbered (174/1500) in pencil to the lower left and copyrighted (Hood 80) in the lower right. The second lithograph shows a pair of Native American warriors on their pinto ponies trudging into the wind on a snow covered plain with swirling snow throughout and silhouetted Native American riders struggling in the snow in the background. This lithograph is signed and numbered (167/1500) in pencil to the lower left and copyrighted (Hood 80) in the lower right. The final lithograph depicts a pair of Native Americans in full regalia racing their pinto through an arid desert plain as the sun rises in the background. This piece is signed and numbered (225/1500) in pencil to the lower left and copyrighted (Hood 80) in the lower right. Two of the three are presented under glass in brown over maize mats in simple oak frames. The middle piece is presented under glass in blue over maize mats in a simple oak frame.
