1930's midnight blue silk dress featuring monochromatic dome shaped silk buttoned panel
Item Details
Gorgeous handmade and hand stitched early 20th Century midnight blue silk dress featuring monochromatic dome shaped silk buttons with dropped shoulders, long sleeves and unique cut at sleeve cuffs with button detail. Bodice panel is sewn to square neckline with collar and sewn to back with snap closures at left side hip and champagne silk lining. Pleated skirt snaps down front and also features the dome buttons with a slit near hemline which falls to ankle, circa 1930’s.
Condition
Light staining and occasional moth holes near hemline and aged fabric on skirt, fading under arm, blood type stains on lining under panel at bodice. Good overall for age.
