A Chippendale style mahogany chest on chest from The Bartley Collection. This tall piece has a deep beveled cornice with dentil detailing, a carved fan motif to the top center medallion flanked by a pair of drawers and four full-width drawers below, all accented by polished brass batwing pulls and escutcheons. To the projected base cabinet are three full-width drawers, also detailed with brass hardware. The cabinet sits on a bracketed and scalloped base and has flat side panels.
