An antique German bisque figurine with a depiction of a boy and girl couple. This delightful figurine is rendered in soft shades of peach and ivory, and shows a blond maiden with peach flowered frock and shawl, holding a white watering can and holding up her left hand, with the bold boy, also dressed in a flowered peach garment and holding a cane, pulling her close, with his right arm around her waist. The couple are seated atop a foliate-textured base. The piece is marked with an incised ‘22’ to the verso.
