A sepia etching titled Suspension Bridge, Cincinnati by Ohio artist Edward Timothy Hurley (American,1869-1950). Art depicts the Roebling suspension bridge from the Kentucky side. Hurley is known for his landscape and townscape etchings and paintings, and even art for Rookwood Pottery. This art is signed on the plate E.T. Hurley, dated 1914, and pencil signed by artist in 1917 with note ‘To Mr. Burton Closson.’ Art is presented under glass with a white matte in a delicate gold tone frame. The reverse includes a tag ‘University of Cincinnati Fine Arts Collection.’
