Ornate Mirrored Armoire

Item Details

An ornate mirrored armoire. The armoire features an arched, elaborately carved bracket to the top of the molding, with a carved, gilded frieze below. The front of the cabinet has fluted columns to either side of the doors, which are inset with mirrors, which have beveled and gilded trim to the insides. The two hinged doors open to reveal an open cabinet above, with a wood clothes rod, and two drawers below, with cut-outs for pulls. No maker’s mark inside drawers. The cabinet has decorative, exposed metal hinges, and ornate antique brass tone metal handles to the cabinet doors. There is a wide, shallow drawer with dark, ornate, brass-tone metal pulls at the base, which rests on carved and gilded bun feet.
