Item Details

An early 19th-century English pine linen press. The antique, linen press is of typical Georgian design, with generous proportions, straight, simple lines and crown molding. The top section has two doors that open on brass hinges to reveal a cabinet and several shelves. Below are six ample drawers with hand-dovetailed construction, each with two round wood knobs. The cabinet once had a lock which has been removed.
