A vintage J.C. Deagan dinner bell chime with mallet. These patented wall chimes are a four-tone tubular xylophone, with a brown base, cream chime plates, and integral wall hanger. Often called a railroad dining car dinner chime by Deagan Inc., Chicago, Deagan is known for percussion instruments. Serial #5G1778. The mallet is not shown.
