A mid-nineteenth century French opaline glass lamp. The circa 1850 glass lamp features a white opaline glass shade and base with dark brass fittings. The lamp has been converted to electric, and comes with a brass hanging chain. (Hardwired.) The lamp comes with a hand-written provenance on a receipt from Le Vieus Monde, New York, New York.
