A modern style abstract bronze sculpture by internationally acclaimed sculptor Richard Erdman (20th c., American). Erdman’s works have been displayed in The Rockefeller Collection in New York, The Minneapolis Institute of Art, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Art in Boston, Princeton University, and dozens of other museums and collections across the world. His large-scale travertine sculpture Passage stands at the head of the famed Donald M. Kendall sculpture gardens at PepsiCo. This particular piece features a swirled, naturalistic amorphous shape in silver- and gold-tones, tapering down into a curvilinear stem that gently touches a juxtaposing squared marble base. Signed by the artist on the bottom of the sculpture, dated 1983, and numbered 1/24.
