An original oil on canvas by American artist, Caroline Burnett. Artist’s career spanned from the late 19th century to the early 20th century in Paris, France. Featured painting depicts a Parisian scene with fashionable figural details and a man selling flowers. Architectural details present to the background and hues of pink are highlighted with heavy brush strokes throughout. Painting is signed ‘BURNETT’ to lower right corner and is displayed under an off-white woven fabric mat, and a wooden mahogany stained ornate frame. Hardware is present to the verso for hanging.
