An original hydrocal plaster sculptural bust by American artist Lois Keener (1923-2013). Bust features the likeness of Bertrand Russell (1872-1970), a British philosopher, logician, mathematician, historian, writer, social critic, political activist, and Nobel Prize winner. Russell’s ideas and viewpoints were well admired by Lois Keener. Sculpture is mounted to a wooden pedestal, darkly stained and featuring a beveled edge. Item dates to 1990.
