"Silent Giant" School Desk

Item Details

An antique floor mounted school desk. This desk has a black painted, cast iron base, and is marked ‘Silent Giant’. The birch desk top has a pencil rest and hole for ink bottle. In front of the desk surface is a birch back and hinged seat, which corresponded to a second desk originally.

Condition

- having wear to finish and replaced bottom, to storage area, below desk top.
