1960s Van Briggle Lorelei Vase

A 1960s Van Briggle ‘Lorelei’ vase finished in a ming blue glaze with Art Nouveau styling. The figurative Lorelei vase was originally designed by Ann Van Briggle. The mold-cast vase with hand rendered details depicts a mermaid situated to top whose body wraps around the vase. To underside an inscribed ‘G’; the mark of Gladys Baker a Van Briggle studio finisher (1960s-1970s), incised mark of ‘Van Briggle, Colo Spgs’ and double ‘AA’ mark.
