Item Details
A sterling silver souvenir spoon, commemorating the Grand Army of the Republic. Marked to the back with the Alvin-Beiderhase Co. mark. The souvenir spoon depicts a bald eagle holding a sword, above an American flag with thirteen stars and a five point star that reads, ‘Grand Army of the Republic. 1861 Veteran 1866’. Marked, ‘Sterling’ and ‘CHG’. The Tyler-Davidson fountain is engraved inside the bowl of the spoon.
Condition
- tip of one wing is broken. Both wings are bent.
