An original marker drawing on paper by listed Cincinnati artist Margaret Wenstrup (1930-2008), dated 1978. The image depicts an irregularly shaped, pretzel-like form, colored in entirely with straight lines of green, set against a backdrop of straight pink and purple lines. It is signed in ink to the lower right. Presented without frame or matting. The work is presented without framing and matting. Wenstrup graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, lived and worked in New Richmond, OH, and is known as a pioneer of Mid Century Modernism. Her art is recognized for her bold use of color and large scale work.
