An original monotype on paper by listed Cincinnati artist Margaret Wenstrup (1930-2008), coming directly from the artist’s estate. The image features three layered rectangles, the center a solid red surrounded by blue with yellow dots which is surrounded by yellow with red dots. Presented without frame or matting. The work is presented without framing and matting. Wenstrup graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, lived and worked in New Richmond, OH, and is known as a pioneer of Mid Century Modernism. Her art is recognized for her bold use of color and large scale work.
