An antique primitive hooked rug featuring two tabby cats at play. Features an adorable scene of an orange tabby cat with red ribbon at his collar and a gray tabby cat with red ribbon at his tail at play. Features an aqua tone ground with an oval cartouche at center in grey with a Baroque style embellishment below the cats. The rug is finished with a navy tone border. There is a strip of fabric backing at the top of the rug.

Condition

There are a few places where the border has come undone, but overall the rug is in good condition for its age. It could use a professional cleaning.
