Antique Furnival Brown Transferware Tureen with Ladle
Item Details
An antique Furnival brown transferware tureen with lid and ladle. The oval soup tureen was made in England by Thomas Furnival & Son in the ‘Medina’ pattern. It has two handles and an oval base with the transfer pattern in vignettes and borders on the tureen exterior, the lid and the bowl of the ladle. It has an incised mark, ‘Furnival 10’ to the bottom. The company operated from 1871-1890.
