Antique Mulberry Transferware
Item Details
An antique mulberry transferware coffee set. The set in the ‘Venus’ pattern includes a coffee pot with lid, five handleless cups and four saucers. The set is marked ‘P W & Co’ for G. Podmore, Walker and Company of England that was in business by this name from 1834 to 1859. The trade name for their china was Pearl Stone Ware.
Condition
three of the five cups have small chips to rim. There is a chip on spout of pot.
