A delightful 1895 Rookwood Pottery ewer, hand painted by the master decorator Elizabeth N. Lincoln, the piece sweetly painted with white clover, the ground in shades of orange, brown and olive. Form number 284C.

Condition

In need of some restoration, the piece has a large hairline, running almost completely up one side, across the bottom and up 1/3 on the other side, one chip on the verso of the rim. Well worth the effort of restoration, however.
