Vintage Lipton Tea Box

A vintage Lipton tea box. The box is marked ‘Pure Ceylon Tea Packed in Sri Lanka.’ Thomas Lipton packaged and sold the first Lipton tea in 1890 after buying his own tea gardens in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). This box is wooden and has a metal trim. It features the Lipton logo on the top and reads ‘metricpack’ on the side.
