Item Details
A collection of reproduction engravings and etchings depicting people. One unframed offset lithograph is titled in pencil on the folio, ‘Study of the Muse Euterpe for the Stanza della Segnatura Fresco, Vatican’ by ‘Raffaele Santi, 1483-1520.’ The print has a watermark to lower right, ‘Albertina Facsimile’. It is presented in an off white paper folio. Another black and white etching print depicts a pastoral scene with people traversing with goat and oxen in the lead. It is presented under glass with off white mat and metallic gold painted wood frame. It has a hook on the back for hanging. A third etching depicts a native by Castilione Senovese, signed in print to upper right. It is presented under glass, loose mounted on dark gray mat board with gray mat and antiqued silver tone decorative wood frame. It has a wire on the back for hanging.The fourth etching depicts a seventeenth century aristocrat and is labeled to the bottom, ‘Wolbein inu: WHollar fec: A. A. Bierling evacud: 1647’. It is presented under glass, loose mounted on gray mat board with light gray mat and antiqued silver tone decorative frame. It has a wire on the back for hanging.
