A complete set of Great Races of Mankind and more. The Great Races of Mankind set contains eight hardbound volumes. Written by John Clark Ridpath and published by The Jones Brothers Publishing Company of Cincinnati, Ohio in 1893. The books have brown covers, gilt lettering on the spine, and floral and metallic end papers. Also included is a two volume set of French Cathedrals and Chateaux by Clara Crawford Perkins with gilt Art Nouveau style decoration and lettering on the front cover and spine. The cloth covers are blue. This set was copyrighted in 1902 and published in 1903 by Knight and Millet of Boston.
Condition
spines and bindings are in poor condition of Great Races set. Spines are fragile on Perkins set.
