A fine George IV period mahogany ‘barrel’ tray, with a finely scalloped edge and scrolled handles, constructed of staves and bound in rattan, joined with hand cut nails. A decidedly cultivated piece, well made, bearing the general wear of a long life. From the estate of prominent Cincinnatian, philanthropist and benefactor, Jacqueline Moore.

Condition

Good, with general finish wear, a few loose staves, but intact.
