Original Oil Portrait of George Wooley as A Young Boy With Light

Item Details

An original oil portrait of George Wooley as a young boy, with an attached slim picture lamp. This vintage oval oil on canvas painting depicts a smiling Wooley holding a hoop against a vivid sunset. George Wooley later went into business with Charles Kilgore, who is known to have formed the telephone company Cincinnati Bell. Art is unsigned, but is presumed to be a Cincinnati painter. It is presented in a refurbished gold tone composite frame with bundled reed motif and includes an attached brass tone light with a switch on the cord. Light is in good working condition.
