A signed and numbered New Zealand kauri wood bowl by master woodturner Alby Hall (Australia, 1948 – ). The bowl is made by kauri wood, ancient wood found in New Zealand that has been buried under ground for 50,000 years. The rounded bowl has a squat shape with cracks forming on two sides of the hole to the center. The piece is signed ‘Alby Hall’ and numbered ‘7/2000’ to the underside. The piece was acquired at the Te Pap Store in New Zealand. An artist’s information card from the store is included.
