A quintet of Turkish and other area rugs. This collection features a handwoven Turkish Keres Kilim runner that extends over twelve feet long. It has herati and mina-shah borders and the field in navy and gold tones displays a Keres tribal pattern. There is a red and black wool Khal Mohammadi rug with two central gul designs and borders in twisted flax and mina-shah patterns. The group also features a wool and cotton kilim made in India with a pair of geometric designs in the center and multiple borders in red, cream, navy, green and brown field; a cream and red thunderbird motif sarape that is Central Mexican origin, and a vintage hooked rug in cream and sage green with floral patchwork design.
