An antique hand carved walnut traveling preacher’s pulpit. Slanted desk top has green wool covering and attached carved book rail. All four sides are intricately hand carved with Christian symbols and other decorative motifs. The piece is initialed and dated to the underside, ‘JFS, 1882’.
