An oversized sepia photograph of the Temple of Saturn and other ruins of Ancient Rome. The photograph is manipulated with hand drawn details in the foreground to the lower left and right. The image includes the Roman Temple of Apollo Sosianus (on far left edge) and other nearby ruins in the Campus Martinus district. Pedestrians are visible along the roadway. The image is mounted on a board and presented under glass in a striking wood grained frame. It has a wire on the back for hanging.
Condition
minor scratches and marks in the grained finish of the frame.
