Item Details
A set of five antique poetry tomes. Included are volumes one and three of The Poetical Works of John Gay with a section about the life of the author. The books were published in Edinburg in 1784. Also featured is the 72nd volume of The Works of English Poets from 1790 containing Johnson and part of W. Whitehead with biographical and critical prefaces by Samuel Johnson, The Poetical Works of John Keats from 1817 illustrated by A.A. Dixon and published by London & Glasgow Collins’ Clear-type Press, and a first edition copy of Trees and Other Poems from 1914 by Joyce Kilmer published by George H. Doran Company.
