An original oil on canvas, a Western genre piece, by well known artist Bob Day (Illinois, 20th century), titled ‘The Stolen Herd,’ depicting a group of Native American Indian horsemen, nabbing a harras of pinto horses, in a Southwestern landscape, sunlight glittering through the dust. Signed in the lower right, housed in a painted wooden molding frame.
Condition
Good, would benefit from cleaning, some paint loss and separation at the joints of the frame.
