1947 Hamilton 950B Railway Special Open Face Pocket Watch

A vintage Hamilton grade 950B, model 6, size 16 Railway Special pocket watch, circa 1947. It features a open face 10K yellow gold filled case with threaded edges; it is marked to the side ‘10K Gold Filled’. Either side of the case has a crystal over the dial and movements, also known as a salesman’s case. The porcelain dial is white and features black Arabic numbers with a subsidiary seconds dial in over the sixth hour; it is marked ‘Hamilton 23 Jewels Railway Special’. The movements are presented on a bridge plate and is marked ‘Hamilton Watch Co U.S.A’, ‘950B 23 Jewels’, serial number ‘S5128’, and ‘ADJ. Temp. and 6 Pos.’.
