A pair of framed Harry Eliott hand-colored offset Lithograph humorous golf themed prints. The name Harry Eliott was an alias for the French artist Charles Edmond Hermet. A cartoonist and illustrator, he was also especially known as a watercolor painter. He is renowned for his depictions of the lighter side of late Victorian life. Both are beautifully colored and feature the artist’s in-plate signature in the bottom left-hand corner. Both are presented under glass in matching frames.
Condition
The bottom of the frame is detached and will need to be repaired. Paper is slightly warped due to water damage.
