Original R. Bernard Oil on Canvas Still Life

An original 1993 oil on canvas still life painting, signed ‘R. Bernard.’ Little is known about this artist other than that several similar paintings from this period all bear this signature. The remarkable Classical painting depicts a bright still life of fruit and gleaming silver resting on a worn stone counter. The painting is signed in red to the lower right. It is presented in a modern wooden frame with cast embellishments and gold tone finish with faux aging. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging, along with a Certificate of Authenticity from Creative Fine Arts, Inc. stating the piece is an original oil, dated 8/17/93.

Condition

- light craquelure across surface, particularly in lower half. Light wear on frames.
