A Felix Settle long barrel cap and ball rifle. Settle is the most widely known rifle maker of south central Kentucky and lived from 1801 to 1871. He marked all his rifles with his full name on the top of the barrel. This piece is a 32 caliber rifle with an attached ramrod.
