A collection of six Yei sand paintings, presented in matching frames. These paintings are traditionally made by pouring tinted sands or powders onto adhesive surfaces to form uniquely textured images and patterns, traditionally believed to return balance and healing to the world.The traditional Southwest colors of teal and clay red contrast beautifully with pale beige and white across the works. Each is signed by the artist to the verso and the images represented are images of Female Windsong, Yei, Big Thunder, and Healing God and more. A tag to the verso of one describes the meanings.
