Antique Fairbanks Grain Scale

Item Details

An antique Fairbanks grain feed scale. This large scale measures up to 1000 pounds and was intended for industrial use for weighing grain feed. The base is slatted wood with the scale underneath. The majority of the scale is made up of cast iron. The main pole is affixed with a faded sticker for the Fairbanks Scale company. The base is on casters to allow movement.

Condition

The wood is weathered and the iron has significant oxidation, but it is still sturdy.
