1971 Two-Volume Compact Edition of the Oxford English Dictionary
Item Details
A two-volume set of The Compact Edition of the Oxford English Dictionary. There are two volumes: Volume I A-O and Volume II P-Z. Published by the Oxford University Press in 1973. 1973 was the third printing in the United States of the 1971 Compact Edition. The two volumes fit into a blue case. At the top of the case is a pull-out drawer that contains a Bausch and Lomb rectangular reader magnifying glass.
Condition
- good for age.
- wear to the edges and cardboard cover, minor scratches to outside.
- books are extremely heavy and the print is extremely fine. A magnifying glass is needed!
