Watermelon Glass Stemware
Item Details
A collection of eight drinking glasses. These depression glass ‘Watermelon’ vessels include three tall water goblets, two champagne coupes and three unmatched stemmed glasses. This bicolored glassware was popular in the 1920s and 1930s. The bowls are tinted a pale watermelon pink and carry a drape optic pattern in the glass. The stems are usually bright green, but can also be pink with a green base. The colors were achieved by adding minerals to the molten glass during production.
