Vintage Military Academy Photograph

Item Details

An original 1937 military academy gelatin-silver photograph of a young boy named Herbert Melick Geary. The formal photograph depicts the young boy in his military uniform as he crosses his arms. The photo is signed ‘Moffett’ to the lower right, and is titled, labeled as being ‘Taken at Culver Military Academy,’ and dated in ink on the verso. It is mounted on white backing and presented behind glass in a beveled wooden frame with brown finish. A wire is attached to the verso of the piece for hanging.

Condition

- frame is damaged along edges, exposing the wood beneath its finish.
