An original signed limited edition serigraph by beloved Cincinnati artist and conservationist Charley Harper (1922-2007), titled Cool Cardinal. The print uses Harper’s signature bright geometric style to depict a male cardinal resting on a power line as small polka dots of snow fall and gather in a pile on his head. The print is signed and numbered 1061/2000 in pencil in the lower margin. The print is matted in black and presented behind glass in a modern black composite frame. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging, along with a card with information about the piece from Frame House Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky. - paper is quite warped and has small sponge-like patterns of accretion across its surface.
