Set of Royal Copenhagen Holiday Collector Plates
Item Details
A set of Royal Copenhagen holiday display plates. Each plate is hand painted in shades of lovely blues with white and deep blue shading. One shows a status or King Frederick VI in Frederiksberg Garden, Copenhagen, marked ‘Julen 1931.’ A second depicts a Santa Claus figure at the door of a home with a small girl greeting him; marked ‘Jule-After-1958.’ A third is an image of the back of two small children who are gazing at a Christmas tree, marked ‘1931 Julen,’ designed by Gotfred Rode. Each is marked to the underside and has display wire through to holes to the top.
Condition
- some stickers and tape residue to the underside of each.
