A pair of antique photographs. Features a silver gelatin processed photograph of the skyline of New York City, with a small boat crossing the river, leaving the metropolitan city behind. The photo is attached to a thick cream poster board with a signature to the backside, likely the photographer’s signature, marked ‘1st ed., 1st proof.’ Also includes a sepia-toned photograph of a souvenir store with four workers standing to the front, likely taken in the early twentieth century. A sign to the front of the store reads ‘Berkshire Summit, Highest Point on Trail.’ The Berkshire Summit is part of Mount Greylock in northwest Massachusetts. Photographer unknown. Both photos are unframed.
