Vintage Sewell Magazine Rack with Accessories
Item Details
A trio of wooden hallway accessories featuring a vintage Sewell magazine holder. This grouping offers a vintage wooden magazine holder that is painted in a brilliant teal with gold-tone accents and is imprinted with an image of a hunting scene entitled ‘Heron-Hawking,’ originally by Samuel Howitt and published October 23, 1799 by ‘Howitt in. et f.’ Made in England by Sewell. The rack has two compartments with a top handle and feet. Accompanying the rack is a small hall table in a mahogany finish with an ornately pierced apron. This group is finishing with a wood-framed mirror that is painted in a brass-tone.
Condition
The right side of the magazine rack has significant paint loss. The mirror is losing its paint finish and the table has several knicks.
