Hand Painted Folk Art Tray and Cast Iron Kettle

A hand painted folk art tray and cast iron kettle. The tray is composed of a wooden frame in walnut finish having carry handles to sides. There is a hand painted image to base of a stone mill house and water wheel, under glass, signed by artist ‘Betty.’ The bird spout cast iron kettle is by Chattanooga Stove Company featuring a star motif to lid with a swing open feature that keeps the lid secured to the wire bale handle. The base has a stepped in cylinder shape that would recess within a grate of a cast iron stove. Unmarked by maker.
Condition
to Poor – there is wear to wooden finish of tray. There is silicone caulk visible to edge of tray glass. Cast iron kettle has extreme wear and rusting.
