Antique Seth Thomas Day Spring Mantel Clock with Alarm

An antique Seth Thomas ‘Day Spring’ mantel clock with alarm. The clock is housed in a wooden case with glass panel door along the front. A gold tone image of a hunting dog surrounded by oak branches and acorns is pictured on the glass panel. Roman numerals are used on the clock face and a paper label reading ‘Day Spring Clocks’ and ‘Made and Sold by Seth Thomas Thomaston Connecticut Warranted Good’ is attached to the inside of the clock’s case. A paper label on the back of the case reads ‘Robert Largen Clock Maker’. The a key for the clock is not included. The clock was not running when cataloged.

Condition

Signs of age appropriate wear. Gold tone worn and coming off. Clock is without key and was not running when cataloged.
