A signed limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of a 1983 painting by listed Kentucky artist Russell May (1921-1990), titled Quiet Night. The print depicts a small wooden cabin tucked away in a remote mountain range. Soft moonlight reflects across the snowy landscape, but the cabin’s glowing windows and smokey chimney make it appear warm and inviting. The print is signed and dated in-plate to the lower right. Below this, it is signed and numbered 143/2000 in pencil. A handwritten note above this reads ‘To ’Ed and Arthie’ from a fellow Eastern Kentuckian.’ The print is double-matted in white and brown and is presented behind glass in a simple dark-stained wooden frame. Condition
- print has shifted off-center just slightly to the left. A few very light scratches mark the frame.
