A hand knotted Persian Kasmir silk area rug. This expansive 10′ × 14′ rug features a lush pile of 100% hand knotted silk fiber. This masterfully knotted carpet displays a field of repeating vignettes of the"Tree of Life", "Flowers of Abundance", and "Grains of Boteh". The field is bounded by a compound border. The border is comprised of a major Shah Abbasi border, two minor Herati borders, and seven Mina-Khani borders. The carpet displays a beautiful coloration in pale blue, light yellow, tan, brown, rust and green.
