Six Sterling Silver Teaspoons
Item Details
A set of six sterling silver teaspoons. The spoons were made by International Silver and are in the Winchester pattern. This production of this particular pattern began in 1902. The back of each teaspoon is stamped: Sterling Pat’d, and bears a hallmark with knight’s helmet over a shield with an ‘S’ in the center. This hallmark is attributed to the Simpson, Hall, and Miller Co., purchased by International Silver in 1898. The presence of this hallmark suggests that the spoons were produced soon after International Silver’s acquisition of the Simpson, Hall, and Miller Co. The teaspoons bear no monograms.
